Philly punk band Smashed By Cars calls it quits

Smashed By Cars, after playing the Philly punk/hardcore scene since 1997, has officially called it quits. Our only regret is that we weren't able to reach all the people we wanted to with our music. I'm sure that most of you who are reading this have never even heard of us. We just put out a new CD only a few months ago so I would ask that you please visit our web site to see what we were all about. More info on the break up can be found there. Download an mp3 or two.

There may or may not be a last show. We're going to do everything we can to make it happen and look forward to seeing you there if it does occur.

Thanks to all our friends, families, the bands we played with, and the kids who came out to see us. It was a lot of fun.
