Enemies released a demo tape reviewed in Absolute Zippo, then was on a split 7" with Second Hand Spit on S.P.A.M. Records. A self-titled CD on New Disorder came out, they lost their bassist Rick Jacobus because he had a kid. Dave Ed, whose band Neurosis is still local joined the band for the Pitch Black split CD & the Seize The Day LP--both on Lookout! Records. Singer/guitarist Mike Pelino played recently with another *local band Green Day for a recent tour and lives in China. Drummer Jason Willer was a full member of the UK Subs for the last few years and is currently in Bremen, Germany.
The band`s original line-up consisted of Mike Pelino, Jason Willer and Rick Jacobus, and its debut split 7" with Second Hand Spit, includes at least two members of The Enemies. A self-titled CD on New Disorder Records was released in 1999.
Dave Ed from Neurosis joined The Enemies for its split CD with Pitch Black, on Lookout Records. A full CD/LP, "Seize The Day", came out in 2002.
