I have noted that on my friends pc and some of my school computers the images and the image boards dont show up. It's just all black.
I tried to show my boyfriend the images I uploaded today, and they just give him a little green smilely face with its tounge sticking out??
Odd.
I don't know whats up. They work fine on my home computer.

Any idea?

That green smilie thing is a anti-hotlinking thing built into the image board software. The idea is: rather than linking directly to the image, you link to the context of the image (ie the post entry). So rather than:

http://gilman.duckpond.net/images/view/000302/frontexpand.jpg

You link to:

http://gilman.duckpond.net/images/302

This might seem a bit cumbersome, but I assure you it makes sense on some levels!

Ok. That does make sence.
But the other problem was, his pc wouldn't ever load the 'images' page using internet explorer. ??
It would just go all black.
=(

My god, IE is a steaming pile. Please smack your friend upside the head for still using in this day and age - there is absolutely no excusing it.

Anyway, after pulling out my hair for an hour, I think it's fixed. The difficulty was that "fixing" it in IE6 would break it in IE7, and vice versa, and it's difficult actually testing both browsers.
