Hands down, The Blottos. They were a straight ahead punk band from the late 90's. What made them the ULTIMATE Gilman band was they were kids who all worked and or hung out at Gilman. There wasn't a show for years that didn't have one of the Blottos at it. They were sloppy, drunk with out being obnoxious and clever. But good people, most importantly. They EPITOMIZE Gilman.
Al Blotto was briefly the head coordinator, still volunteers and plays guitar in Acts Of Sedition. He is the nicest member of Gilman, ever.
Johnny Blotto is in acting school in New York. He is maybe the third meanest Gilman volunteer, ever.
Heather Blotto roadies for various bands, sells patches and lightens ever room she is in.
Ryan Blottos occasional shows up at shows, drunk and looking as lonely as ever. He mostly disappeared.
Jasmine Blotto plays saxaphone and other instruments in the brillant avant garde dyke-core band, Veronica Lip Gloss And The Evil Eyes.
The first drummer's name I always forget. He is and always was a hippie.

The Wynona Riders

I don't know if there was a more fun to listen to band... well, it's a toss up between them and Sewer Trout.

Sewer Trout! I love those guys.. .. Viginal envy... that one song that's on "the thing that ate floyd" . i mean, you can't get the whole band from just one song, but i find that to be pretty much awesome.

I miss the Blotto's sooooo much. Ryan's totally in NYC now too. First drummer was jeff gill. That guy is a total tool. I used to hang with that guy. Now he sits in his friends basement and does tons of speed and shit.
