"More old stuff" is winning handily in the current poll, so here's some seminal stuff that for some reason I've never made available before now: Ian McKaye's early stuff. The full Minor Threat Discography is available now, as well as the the Egg Hunt one-off and the first Fugazi album. Waiting Room is freaking brilliant. |

glad to see it. I've bought that stupid CD/tape like ten times and it always gets lost. I'm putting Ian's kids through college... |

Was great to feel so liberated back in the day.... I did a small fanzine back in the day, when I lived in Tampa and used ot go to downby law and downset shows. Anyways take care great job Harry!! |

Funny you just put this up. I've just lately decided to dig up as much as i could about the early dc scene and Ian MacKaye. Started gettin records on ebay, etc. Even bought the 20 years of Dischord cd, and let me tell you, completely worth every penny. Songs, bios, and pictures of 50 bands and 23 unreleased/rare songs. Its quite amazing how intertwined the youth were. Dischord defiantely ranks as one of the best labels ever.
I also picked up the Rites of Sping cd - End on End. I also recommend that a lot. _________________ Conditioned to self-interest with emotions locked away. If that's what they call normal, then I'd rather be insane. ~ Jesse Michaels |
