How much does it cost to run a site like this with internet radio broadcasting? It seems like a good idea.

Hard to say, as this box does other things too, so it'd be difficult to itemize what portion of my total cost is for the 'cast. Bandwidth-wise, it does make up the majority, but it's pretty low usage and I'm way under my allotment.

You can get dedicated servers for under $100 month. Or, if you have a decent sized broadband line (say, at least 768 upstream) with a static IP, you could go that route if that costs less. Usually the large upstream and the static IP cost quite a bit "extra".

I don't know if you could really host this on a shared server - running a bunch of high bandwidth/CPU usage daemons doesn't sound like something shared hosting providers would like.
